Hello and welcome to the website of the Cambridge University Punting Society, the Granta Rats!
We exist to promote non-competitive boating and outdoor swimming among members of Cambridge University. To this end, we organise meetings for punting, pleasure sculling, and swimming, and work to make these activities in general accessible and affordable.
Fancy joining but don't know how to punt?! Have no fear! We offer free punting “lessons” to everyone, simply come along to one of our punting sessions and we'll get you punting in no time. To join us in our general river themed merriment simply email and send us a cheque for £15, or come to one of the numerous events we'll be holding through the year. This entitles you to free punting for the rest of the academic year. Bargain!
